Many mistakenly think that having bought an electric walnut cracker, they will receive a whole kernel without additional manipulations and efforts. In fact, the nutcracker only cracks the walnut. In the realities of the Ukrainian walnut market, where most of the walnuts are collected from the population, the listed equipment is not capable of performing 100% of all work. And the point is not at all in the equipment, but in the quality of the walnut - it is of different sizes, shell thickness, humidity and hardness. Based on this, a part of the walnut during processing will be sent for additional cracking, on average, this is 10-30% of the total mass of raw materials *.
You can cracking what the nutcracker could not handle manually. For this, personnel are hired on the basis that one person per day finishes about 17 kg of walnuts. The more low-quality walnuts, the more personnel will be required.
At this stage, two questions arise:

To reduce the number of under-cracked, it is recommended to calibrate the walnut before cracking and adjust the nutcracker to a specific walnut size.
To cracked a walnut of poor quality - in which a thick shell and partitions have grown into the kernel, a walnut breaker is used. It completely frees from manual cracking and has a high performance.
Having a calibrator, a nutcracker, a vibrating sieve with aspiration (separate or one installation) and a walnut breaker in the kit will be a minimum manual labor . Personnel will be needed to move the walnut between units and monitor the operation of the equipment.
