The calibrator is an equipment for quick sorting of inshell nuts by size. Thanks to its flexible settings, it is ideal for sizing walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and even snails. Sizing of the nut is necessary for its high-quality processing on nutcrackers that require sizing of the nut, as well as to increase the yield of the whole kernel when working on cone nutcrackers.

The principle of operation is simple: the required dimensions of the gaps between the shafts are set, a container is placed for unloading the nut, the nut is poured into the calibrator hopper. In the process of work, the nut moves between the shafts until the width of the hole coincides with the size of the nut, then it falls through and goes to the unloading container.
