Growing hazelnuts is an art we explore together! On September 9, we had the pleasure of attending a seminar in the "Batkivsky Sad", organized by our colleague and the owner of the garden, Igor Tsybenko.
Ihor Tsybenko gave a tour of his nursery, told and visually showed the methods of propagation of seedlings, growing techniques, pruning and pollination.
At this seminar, we plunged into the world of growing hazelnuts on a trellis and unraveled the intricacies of this process. In the hands-on segment, we even had the opportunity to harvest hazelnuts and weigh them, making sure that this business is not only interesting, but also profitable.
Speakers of the seminar, Andriy Lapa and Serhiy Kuchugurnyi, generously shared their knowledge and experience, helped us understand the secrets of successful hazelnut cultivation and increasing the profitability of our nut orchards.
